Located in an exceptional setting in the heart of the Chartreuse Regional Nature Park, the Musée Arcabas en Chartreuse offers visitors the unique experience of encountering the world of the painter and sculptor Arcabas. Conceived and created over several decades, this collection of paintings, stained-glass windows, sculptures and furniture is one of the most accomplished examples of twentieth-century sacred art.

The museum's mediators will help you discover the work of the artist Arcabas: an initial period marked by austerity, a second more abstract period and finally a profusion of colours with the Prédelle.
They will give you the keys to appreciate the 111 works created by the artist, including stained glass, sculptures, paintings and brass inlays. The ochre earths, the chromatic circle and the gold leaf complement each other to form a colourful whole.
