2 p.m.: Screening – Le Clan des Marmottes (The Marmot Clan) /62 min – Ages 6 and up /Anne Lapied, Véronique Lapied, Erik Lapied
The marmot is one of the most iconic animals in our mountains. The film follows the story of a young male marmot over four years. Vigilant, supportive, cunning, and greedy, he becomes the leader of his clan. Forced to leave his family, he must outwit attacks from foxes, eagles, and wolves in the heart of magnificent and sometimes hostile landscapes. An immersive journey through some of the most beautiful flower-filled meadows in the world.
1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.: Hide Workshop – Discovering Wildlife
Throughout the afternoon, a hide workshop will be offered to discover the world of wildlife in a fun and participatory way.
The hide, a small shelter that allows you to observe nature discreetly, will provide an opportunity to learn how to be patient and spot animals.
Workshop led by Antoine Corcket, wildlife photographer and mountain guide.
EVENING SESSION:
The evening sessions are presented by Camille Regache:
Camille Regache is a freelance journalist based in Grenoble, specializing in LGBT and gender issues. She works for La Déferlante, France Culture, and Topo magazine. She hosted the Camille podcast (Binge Audio) on heteronormativity. A member of the Hors-Cadre freelance collective and the AJL (Association of LGBT Journalists), she also leads training sessions on the media's treatment of LGBT issues.
But what does all this have to do with adventure? Born in Isère and raised on the slopes of the Hautes-Alpes, Camille walks/runs/cycles/skis/climbs (no unnecessary mention) and as often as possible with a tent in her bag or panniers. Whenever she gets the chance, she freelances on mountain topics for Montagnes Magazine, for example. The adventure film she would like to make? A farewell tour of the glaciers of the Alps, 100% eco-friendly and 100% by bike.
