Caves of Sassenage

The acces and the guided tour of the caves are free with your G-PASS. Dive into the coolness of these caves (12°), listed as a natural heritage site, and admire the crystal-clear waters of the Furon. A change of scenery is guaranteed with this guided tour of the underground world.

Practical information:

- Bring warm clothes and suitable footwear.
- It's a 20-minute walk from the car park to the Grotto ticket office.

• January, February, March, April, May, November, December: closed
• June: Mondays and Tuesdays closed. Wednesday to Friday: visits by appointment, minimum 18 people. Saturday and Sunday: tours every afternoon at 2pm, 3.30pm and 5pm.
• July and August: tours every afternoon, departing at 2pm, 2.30pm, 3pm, 3.30pm, 4.30pm, 5pm, 5.30pm. Mornings by appointment
• Every Wednesday in July and August, the 2pm visit is devoted to the animation "Omballa's challenges: Mélusine in peril at Les Cuves".
• September: Mondays and Tuesdays closed. Wednesday to Friday: visits by appointment, minimum 18 people. Saturdays and Sundays visits every afternoon at 2pm, 3.30pm and 5pm, 
• October: Mondays and Tuesdays closed. Wednesday to Friday by appointment, minimum 18 people. Saturday and Sunday: tours every afternoon at 3pm and 4.30pm.
