The Musée dauphinois, located on the slopes of the Bastille in Grenoble, in the convent of Sainte-Marie d'en-Haut, is part of the close relationship it maintains with the original and adopted inhabitants of the Dauphiné Alps, as well as with visitors passing through. As well as being a place for investigating all periods of Alpine history, it is also a place for reflecting on our times. Each year, two or three exhibitions, always accompanied by publications, conferences and debates, explore in turn the fields of archaeology, regional, rural or industrial heritage.
The G-PASS offer:
- The G-PASS is not required: the Musée Dauphinois is part of the network of 11 museums of the Département de l'Isère, and is free to all.

Opening hours
- 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday, except Tuesdays,
- 10 am to 7 pm Saturday and Sunday
- Closed January 1, May 1, December 25
