Couvent Sainte-Cécile
The Couvent Sainte-Cécile, in the heart of Grenoble's antique district, has become the latest arty venue. Founded in 1624, the Couvent Sainte-Cécile today houses a museum, the Cabinet Rembrandt, dedicated to the engraved work of the Dutch artist, temporary exhibitions on the link between comics and painting, and a bookshop. It is also the headquarters of the Glénat publishing house.

Loustal, les Alpes au fil de l’autoroute
From 15 May to 27 September 2025
Free
The exhibition ‘Loustal, les Alpes au fil de l'autoroute’, at the Couvent de Sainte-Cécile from 15 May to 27 September 2025.
Immerse yourself in the visual world of Jacques de Loustal, illustrator, painter, author of comic strips and travel diaries. At the request of APRR, the artist has designed a series of tourist and cultural panels that can be seen along the motorways of Isère, Savoie, Haute-Savoie and Drôme.
Designed to be seen in the blink of an eye at high speed, these illustrations are a real artistic challenge: vertical format, a palette reduced to brown and white tones, simplified motifs and imposed themes.
