Couvent Sainte-Cécile
Housed in a former convent founded in 1624 for the Bernardine sisters, the Sainte-Cécile convent is steeped in history, having served as a barracks, dance hall, cinema, and theater. Magnificently restored, since 2008 it has been home to the headquarters of Éditions Glénat, a bookshop, and exhibitions by the Glénat Fund for Heritage and Creation.

The Couvent Sainte-Cécile, in the heart of Grenoble's antique district, has become the latest arty venue. Founded in 1624, the Couvent Sainte-Cécile today houses a museum, the Cabinet Rembrandt, dedicated to the engraved work of the Dutch artist, temporary exhibitions on the link between comics and painting, and a bookshop. It is also the headquarters of the Glénat publishing house.
